The government of India has provided Rs 22.79 million to Saraswati Secondary School of Neta VDC, Gulmi . A Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) was signed on Wednesday between the Embassy, Gulmi District Development Committee and the School for providing the grant assistance. The project , being undertaken in response to request from DDC Gulmi and in consultation with Government of Nepal, will be implemented as Small Development Projects and under the India-Nepal Economic Cooperation Programme. The Indian assistance will be used in creating necessary infrastructure for Sarashwoti Secondary School to enable it to upgrade its capacity in keeping with its educational standards and increasing number of students.
